Children in dying hours after UK government approves bill to deport some asylum seekers to Rwanda.

Five asylum seekers, including a child, have died while crossing the English Channel from France to the UK in an overcrowded small boat, just hours after the British government approved legislation to deport some asylum seekers to Rwanda.

The ship, carrying 112 people, departed from Wimereux, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) southwest of the French port of Calais, to cross one of the world's busiest shipping lanes.
