Two 12-year-old boys found guilty in Britain for killing man in machete attack

Two 12-year-old boys have been found guilty of killing a man in a machete attack in England last November, police said Monday.

The boys, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, killed Shawn Seesahai, 19, at a park in Wolverhampton, central England, West Midlands Police said in a statement.

Sisahai, who is from Anguilla, had only lived in the UK for about six months, the statement said.

According to police, Sishai and his friend were at a park when they were approached by young children.

Nottingham Crown Court heard the victim was pinned on the shoulder by one of the boys and punched, kicked, trampled and cut with a 42.5cm long machete, PA reported.

A witness told the court one defendant used a machete on Sisahais' leg while another struck and stomped on his head.

The court also heard that Seesahai suffered injuries that pierced his entire body from his back, through his ribs and all the way to his heart, PA reported.

West Midlands Police said the perpetrators were arrested two days after the attack. A machete was found under the boy's bed, bloody clothes were found in one of the boy's laundry baskets and forensic analysis of a mobile phone seized by police uncovered several images of large knives and other weapons.

Seesahai's mother said he was a really loving son, adding that he was very polite, looked after us, loved everyone and was very protective.

His father said justice must be done. i want [the assailants] You don't have to be in prison for the rest of your life to get the right sentence. I just hope it's fair.

We are keeping our fingers crossed to get the justice that has come here, he added.

The boys are expected to be sentenced in July, according to PA.
