Racist slurs from British reform campaigners are hurtful, says Sunak.

Conservative leader Rishi Sunak said he was “hurt” and “angry” after a British reform activist used a racist term to describe him.

Secret recordings released by Channel 4 show pollsters trying to get British reform leader Nigel Farage elected as Claxon's MP by using a racial slur to refer to the prime minister, who is of Indian origin.

Britain's Reform Party said anyone who made “unacceptable comments” would no longer take part in Farage's election campaign.

Mr Sunak used racist language in an interview with reporters, saying: “My two daughters should see and hear the reformists who campaigned for Nigel Farage.”

“It hurts. And it makes me angry,” he said.

He added that Mr Farage “has some questions to answer”.

“Seeing Reform candidates and activists who seem to have no problem using racist and misogynistic language and comments says something about the culture within the Reform Party.”

In response to these comments, Mr. Sunack repeated the racist remark, saying, “I do it intentionally and I hate it when I do it.”

“I chose my words deliberately and I hate to repeat them, I really hate to, but I think it's also important to make it clear what this is.”
