Worthy de Jong scored 11 points as the ruthless Netherlands men's 3×3 basketball team crushed the United States 21-6 at La Concorde 1 on Saturday.

After rebounding from a 0-4 start, the Americans entered their final group game needing a win to advance to the qualifying round, but they rarely looked like they could get close to a positive result as the Netherlands shot 82 percent from the field, including 5-of-10 from three-point range. Canyon Barry, Kareem Maddox and Dylan Travis each accounted for two of the six points.

Still without Jimmer Fredette, the Americans shot a dismal 1 of 11 from two-point range, were outrebounded 12-8 and committed four turnovers while failing to lose the Dutch once.

The United States finished the tournament in seventh place, ahead of China in eighth. The United States beat China and France for a record of 2 wins and 5 losses.
