The Daily Telegraph has taken a dire view of Lee Carsley's comments that he would not sing the national anthem when he takes charge of England for the first time.

The paper's chief football writer Jason Burt said Carsley was naïve and should not be in charge of the national team if he did not sing God Save The King before his first game.

The paper argues that even if the former Ireland international had not sung the song as a player or as England Under-21 manager, this is – as the saying goes – a whole new game with a whole new level of responsibility and scrutiny.

The Daily Mail reported that the Football Association should sack Carsley if he fails to sing the national anthem.

The Guardian reports that the government plans to introduce tenants' rights bill next week, which it has called a major victory for campaigners.

The report says there have been warnings for years that a lack of tenant protections in Britain was worsening the housing crisis and increasing financial instability for millions of renters.

The paper noted that while the bill was a key element of Labor's housing market plans, landlords had warned that ending no-fault evictions could lead to a massive number of court cases.

England's new caretaker manager has revealed he will not sing the national anthem ahead of their match against Ireland on Saturday.

According to The Times, the number of wealthy Britons considering moving abroad has soared since Labour came to power.

They are said to be concerned about the finance minister's tax plans for the fall budget.

According to the paper, one company that provides relocation services to high-net-worth individuals said it had seen a 69 percent surge in inquiries last month compared to August last year.

A Treasury spokeswoman said the budget will make difficult decisions to fill a $22 billion funding gap.

The Financial Times reports that the Chancellor is already facing a “rebellion” in Whitehall over planned spending cuts.

Rachel Reeves said she had told departments to come up with plans to deal with spending restrictions by next Friday, a move she said she had inherited from the Conservatives.

But one official told the newspaper that the cuts the Treasury wants are “absolutely impossible.”

The Daily Mail reports that the Royal Navy's fleet is in an “absolutely dire” state, with many ships broken down, under repair or undergoing tests.

According to open source data, only nine of the 25 warships and six attack submarines (non-nuclear) are known to be active or deployed.

The Royal Navy said the ships could be rotated on a planned cycle to meet operational requirements.

The Financial Times reports that frozen croissants are also gaining popularity in France.

“Give me back the gong! Furious as Sir Ian slams Queen” was the Daily Express' front-page headline, referring to comments made by veteran actor Sir Ian McKellen to another newspaper, The Times.

Sir Ian recently said in an interview about the film that the late Queen was “rude” when she asked if anyone was still going to the cinema when she was made an honorary peer.

The Express called his comments a “sarcastic attack.”

And the Financial Times’ front page will disappoint fresh-food traditionalists: It reports that frozen, pre-made croissants are increasingly replacing freshly made, real ones in cafes across the US and Western Europe (including France).

One of the leading manufacturers of frozen versions claims that even the best pastry chefs can't tell the difference.

Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
