The Met Office's long-term forecast suggests snow could fall in parts of England as early as next week.

In the UK it doesn't usually snow until the end of the year, but it could come early in the year.

Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing over the next few weeks, with a chance of snow over the next few days.

So where can we expect to see snow in the UK over the next few days?

Don't get too excited though, as snowball fights will still be limited to areas like Inverness in northern and eastern Scotland.

With temperatures rising into the teens in parts of the UK this week, it may be hard to imagine snow falling.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicts the following from October 30 to November 8: This period is likely to be characterized by calm and stable weather, with areas of high pressure being the main feature of the weather.

Initially there is likely to be some fog and fog in the south along with somewhat cloudy conditions, while the far north could look slightly more unsettled with stronger winds and rain possibly passing by.

By early November, the weather is likely to get much colder or brighter (briefly), with snow likely in northern and eastern areas. It can remain in place.
