The Game Awards 2024 – UK time, full nomination list and how to watch

The 10th anniversary celebration of The Game Awards is about to take place in Los Angeles with rapper Snoop Dogg.

Gamers around the world will flock to their screens for one of the biggest events of the year – Game Awards 2024.

Hosted by video game journalist Geoff Keighley, hosts have pulled out all the stops for the show's 10th anniversary, with rapper Snoop Dogg set to perform and The Muppets Waldorf and Statler presenting one of the awards.

The glittering awards ceremony, comparable to the Oscars or Grammys, will see developers, players and the games themselves take home awards in categories ranging from Game of the Year to Best Esports Player.

And there might be a big announcement about a new release.

Keighley told Variety: I always say: People are happy to see one thing because they know it exists, but what about all the things you don't know exist?

We see fake listings online all the time. All of these things are being announced.

And that's because people know it exists.

And I like it, but what if there's all this other stuff in there?

The 2024 Game Awards will be held on Thursday, December 12th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, USA.

The event starts at 12:30am GMT on Friday 13 December, UK time, at 4:30pm local time.

For those who couldn't get tickets, you can watch a live stream of the event on The Game Awards YouTube channel.

It will also be broadcast live and free on all major digital, social and gaming platforms around the world, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Twitch.
