Nigel Farages party has achieved a huge milestone as member support soars to 150,000.

Nigel Farage's Reform UK has hit a major milestone as party membership soars to 150,000, taking another giant leap forward in breaking down Britain's two-party political system.

The populist party, which aims to push Farage into 10th place in 2029, confirmed on Boxing Day that its overall membership had surpassed the Conservatives, which had 131,680 as of November 2024.

The UK Reform Party had just 40,000 members before Farages returned as leader in June 2024, and the return of the Brexit stalwart has seen the right-wing party record exponential growth of 300% in just eight months.

Farage's return saw Reform UK grow by 25,000 almost immediately, reaching a total membership of 75,000 in August 2024.

Commenting on the milestone, Farage said: “We've just hit 150,000 members! 50,000 new members this month alone. Britain is broken. Britain needs reform. Come and join us.”

Zia Yusuf, Chairman of Reform UK, who attended the celebrations, said: “Thank you all so much! Real change is coming to Britain.”

On Boxing Day, Reform overtook Kemi Badenoch's Conservatives and Farage realized he had hit a milestone while the populist party was hunting the countryside.
