Nissan Group Announces U.S. Sales for Fourth Quarter 2024 and Calendar Year 2024

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan Group reported total U.S. sales of 222,484 units for the fourth quarter (October-December) 2024, an increase of 10.3% from the previous year. This increase is driven by strong sales of Nissan models across the range, including the all-new Kicks, Versa and Pathfinder.

The Nissan Group also announced total sales of 924,008 units in the United States for the 2024 calendar year, an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous year.

Nissan Divisional Fourth Quarter 2024 Highlights: Sales of the Nissan Kicks compact crossover increased 51.1% year-over-year for the quarter. Kicks set sales records in all three months of the quarter. Sales of the Nissan Versa sedan increased 91% year over year for the quarter. Sales of the Nissan Pathfinder three-row crossover increased 44.2% year over year for the quarter. Sales of the Nissan Sentra sedan increased 43.7% year over year for the quarter. Sales of the Nissan Ariya electric crossover increased 30.2% year-over-year for the quarter. Sales of the Nissan Frontier midsize pickup increased 13.5% year over year for the quarter. Nissan Division 2024 Year-End Highlights: Ariya sales increased 47% for the calendar year, the best sales year since the vehicle's launch in 2022. Versa sales increased 71% .7% for the calendar year. Sentra sales increased 39.8% for the calendar year. Frontier sales increased 17.2% for the calendar year. Pathfinder sales increased 12.8% for the calendar year.

With the new year, Nissan celebrates the arrival of the all-new 2025 Armada and Murano in dealerships across the United States.

NOTE: To ensure consistency in global sales reporting, Nissan North America calculates quarterly variances based on a simple percentage, not adjusted for number of days sold. The fourth quarter of 2024 had 78 sales days and the fourth quarter of 2023 had 76 sales days. Calendar year 2024 had 308 sales days and calendar year 2023 had 306 sales days.
