Tornadoes, extreme weather conditions grow on us, at least 30 dead
Deaths have been reported in Kansas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas and Missouri while dozens of tornadoes have torn the United States.
At least 37 people died after dozens of tornadoes, strong winds and dust storms pushed to the United States during the weekend, decimating houses and other structures in several states.
Deaths were reported in Kansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Alabama and Missouri, where storms killed a dozen, three of which were on Friday evening in an EF-3 tornado with cutting-edge winds of 140 MPH enevis via Bakersfield, announced the national weather service on Saturday. Nationally, more than 337,000 power failures were reported on Sunday afternoon, including nearly 41,000 breakdowns in Missouri, according to USA TODAY OUTAGE TRACKER.
The Storm Prediction Center has recorded 75 preliminary reports of Tornado in seven states since Friday. The weather service works to confirm the total number of tornadoes.
The offices of the meteorological service in places dispersed across the center and the east of the United States had field teams conducting surveys on the damage caused by the tornado on Sunday.
President Donald Trump published a statement on Sunday, declaring that his office was monitoring tornadoes and storms that had an impact on the region and the deployment of the National Guard in Arkansas.
“My administration is ready to help those responsible for the state and states because they help their communities trying to recover from damage,” added Trump. “Please join Melania and me to pray for everyone touched by these terrible storms!”

At a press conference on Sunday afternoon, the governor of Mississippi Tate Reeves announced that six people died in three counties. Reeves also reported that at least 27 people had been injured across the state. The preliminary reports on Saturday initially indicated that there were 29 injuries.
According to Reeves, three people who have disappeared on Saturday were also found alive. At 4 p.m., local time, Reeves said that around 217 people in Mississippi were moved.
“We are now up to 23 Mississippi counties which report damage and damage assessments are underway,” said Reeves. “We have currently finished somewhere in the district of 575 damage assessments.”
State officials and National Weather Service are still working to confirm the total number of tornadoes that have swept the state. Reeves said the preliminary data estimated on Sunday that 12 tornadoes had hit the state from Friday to Saturday evening.
State officials have also noted damage caused by floods in parts of the state, including the counties of Prentiss and Tishomingo where the sanders were damaged and the roads were flooded with water.

In Kansas, eight people died when strong winds and a storm of dust caused a massive collision on Interstate 70 involving at least 71 vehicles, said soldier Tod Hileman with Kansas Highway Patrol.
Three people died in Independence County, Arkansas, according to the state emergency management division and 32 people were injured in eight counties. A Friday evening tornado in Cave City was confirmed by the meteorological service as an EF-3, with winds of 165 MPH, just below the EF-4 threshold.
At least three people were killed in the center of Alabama after bad weather and tornadoes had an impact on the state, Governor Kay Ivey said in a statement on X on Sunday afternoon. According to Khou-TV and Accuweather, three other deaths were also reported in Amarillo, Texas, after a dust storm caused several car accidents.
Oklahoma officials said two people had been killed due to forest and weather fires. One person died in a vehicle accident caused by smoke, according to Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt. KFOR-TV reported that a father had been killed and that his son was seriously burned on Friday.
A wave of serious storms that caused the tornadoes through the Alabama caused current breakdowns, shot down and destroy the structures.
Residents and authorities began to assess the damage on Sunday. Ivey confirmed at least three deaths and noted that there were damage reports in 52 of the 67 state counties.
John Green found one of the people who died in the storm on Saturday, his friend Floyd “Dunk” Pickering. The friends had benefited from a boiling in the community in the north of the county of Dallas, Plantersville, before a tornado strikes. Green was in his truck on the other side of the street when the tornado hit, lifting the truck on the side.
“It was by the grace of God that I returned from the truck to the house,” said Green.
In addition to Pickering, Green has found two other people pinned under the debris. One of them was Emily Robertson.
Robertson said the tornado looked like an explosion. She fell on her bed and the roof collapsed on her. The winds then picked it up, bed and roof.
“It looks like a war zone,” said Robertson, questioning the devastation that was once his house.

During its trip from the Pacific coast, the wild weather system threw snowfoot into the Sierra Nevada and caused a high-end EF-0 Tornado to Pico Rivera, California, just east of Los Angeles. Winds from 70 MPH to 80 MPH overturned vehicles in several states.
The strong winds attracted rapidly evolving forest fires in Texas and Oklahoma, state officials said. In Texas, 13 fires had burned more than 27,000 acres, according to Texas A & M Forest Service. One person was reported dead after a stack in Bovina, Texas.
In Oklahoma, Governor Kevin Stitt said a dozen counties on Saturday, and a statement reported more than 112 injuries.
In Bakersfield, Missouri, the meteorological service survey has shown that several houses have been destroyed and others damaged by the tornado, which torn the region around 8:30 am Friday evening, rolling cars up to 100 meters and deractive many trees.
