Along with the coronavirus crisis, many new rules have been formed for travel abroad.

When you arrive at your destination, there are rules in the UK and other countries. No matter what mode of transport you use, not to mention all measures to ensure a safe trip.

We are currently in a state of lockdown in the UK, which means that non-essential travel abroad is not allowed. Travel abroad is only allowed in exceptional circumstances, such as work or education.

However, we are going to get out of this blockade on December 2nd, one week on Thursday.

We don’t yet know exactly what the rules are, but there was an announcement last night that the prime minister is expected to return the country to a hierarchical system with tighter restrictions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently advising on all travel except travel to Italy, which is essential due to the Covid risk assessment.

If you decide to go, you must adhere to the following rules:

If you have stayed or made a transit through a few of the listed countries for 14 days before entering Italy, you will be required to self-isolate for 14 days upon entering Italy. If you are unable to do so for any reason, you may be denied entry to Italy.

Before traveling to Italy, you must download and complete your own declaration from the Ministry of Interior and inform the local authorities of your presence.

Upon returning from Italy, you will have to self-isolate for 14 days.
