Wellington County Introduces COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Employees-Guelph
Wellington County has all its employees COVID-19 (New Coronavirus Infection) Immunization status until September 22 as part of the new policy.
The county said in a news release Thursday that anyone who was not fully vaccinated by October 23 would need to undergo regular rapid testing for the disease.
The statement did not state how often unvaccinated employees should be tested, but in accordance with applicable law and reasonable practice, employees pay for each antigen test. He added that he might have to.
“Public health data show that delta variants pose a significant risk to unvaccinated people, including children under the age of 12,” said Warden Kelly Linton.
