In an exclusive Channel 4 News interview, Sara Canning compared Lyra’s murder to pedophiles – not sexually, but with violence.

Canning also revealed that at the funeral service, Theresa May told her it was “a duty she had to do with Northern Ireland”.

“It’s about saying that issues like gay marriage and abortion rights should be condemned,” he said.
