An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Kamjung district of Manipur on Saturday, the National Seismological Centre said. The epicenter of the quake was located at 25.00 degrees north latitude and 94.57 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 85 km, according to the National Seismological Centre. “Equivalent magnitude: 3.7, 03/08/2024 at 19:50:28 IST, Latitude: 25.00 degrees north, Longitude: 94.57 degrees east, Depth: 85 km, Location: Kamjung, Manipur,” the centre posted on its website. No casualties have been reported so far.
