Muhammadiyah Youth of Kupang City and NTT Appreciate President Joko Widodo's 10 Years of Leadership

Kupang Town, wartaalor.com – Muhammadiyah Youth Organization, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province, appreciates the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo for 10 years at the helm.

In a press release issued on Tuesday (January 10), Chairman of Kupang City Muhammadiyah Youth Organization Ansar Dahlan said that President Jokowi's 10 years of leading Indonesia through the Cabinet work and the advanced Indonesian Cabinet had had a great impact on Indonesian society.

Infrastructure development is the government's priority, including infrastructure for connectivity, basic services, food, energy and industry. Massive development activities carried out by the government have helped Indonesia rise to 27th place from 34th in the global competitiveness rankings.

Specifically East Nusa Tenggara, this province has received a lot of attention. For example, President Jokowi built the Tilong and Raknamo dams in Kupang Regency, Rotiklot in Belu, and Napung Gete in Sikka Regency. Apart from that, Temef is on the border of South Central Timor and North Central Timor, Manikin is in Kupang Regency and Lambo is in Nagekeo Regency.

President Jokowi realizes that NTT is a province that needs water. With the characteristics of East Nusa Tenggara as an agricultural, livestock and maritime fishing area, the people of NTT need a water supply to improve the community's economy.

Besides various dams, transportation facilities such as roads, ports, airports and other supporting infrastructure have been massively constructed in East Nusa Tenggara. Meanwhile, President Jokowi has built a very good National Border Post (PLBN) in the Indonesia-East Leste border area.

President Jokowi is also building good infrastructure and tourist centers in East Nusa Tenggara. Call it Labuan Bajo, the tourism and economic facilities of Kupang Town and various other tourist areas.

“Therefore, without hesitation, we express our sincere thanks and appreciation to President Jokowi for his dedication and love for NTT,” said Ansar Dahlan.

Kupang City Muhammadiyah Youth hopes that President Jokowi's various development concerns can be well synchronized by the provincial government and different districts in NTT. Thus, the various infrastructures that have been built have had a significant impact on the progress and improvement of the standard of living of the inhabitants of NTT.

Meanwhile, Indonesia will soon experience a leadership transition from President Jokowi to President-elect Prabowo Subianto. Muhammadiyah Youth hopes that the equitable development started by President Jokowi will be continued by President Prabowo Subianto.

“We hope that what has been a good thing and has an impact on progress will continue with President Prabowo. “And what is still missing is a note to improve in the future,” said Ansar Dahlan.

The Muhammadiyah Youth of Kupang City will remain an organization loyal to the defense of government and pro-community interests towards a golden Indonesia and an increasingly advanced Indonesia, competitive with other countries in the world.

Competitiveness is what we want to achieve from existing developments, in addition to the use of infrastructure for people in various sectors of community life. Indonesia has experienced extraordinary growth and successfully overcome various challenges, including the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Muhammadiyah youth in Kupang City hope to make Indonesia progressive and better in the future.
