Division 9 Girls Tennis Tournament 2024

The Section 9 Girls Tennis Championships will be contested Tuesday through Wednesday, Oct. 22-23 at the Goshen Sports Complex.

As usual, the champions of last week's Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association and Mid-Hudson Athletic League tournaments will be placed on opposite sides of the draw. The singles and doubles draws have 16 entries each, with two rounds being played on Tuesday and the semi-finals and finals on Wednesday.

The top entries from Middletown and Our Lady of Lourdes claimed the national titles last week. Middletown had singles champion Sasha Henesy and doubles winners Alexis Michael and Sandra Habwe. Lourdes had singles champion Tiffany Ren and doubles winners Elia Bonavoglia and Emma Beradis.

The other top seeds for singles include Vivienne Bucci of Newburgh; Isabel Luzzi of Red Hook; Ally Davis of Washingtonville; Katie Park of Spackenkill; Tiffany Mabnikoth-Sooksavath of Pine Bush; and Margo Ogden-Kosofsky of New Paltz.
