3.3 Earthquake strikes near Vancouver Island

A 3.3 -size earthquake hit Vancouver Island Thursday morning.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake struck at 11:49 am about 31 miles east to southeast Tofino, British Colombia, at a depth of about 3.1 miles.

As of 12:28 pm, 8 people reported their feeling of the earthquake to USGs.

If you feel the earthquake, you are encouraged to report it on USGs.

The North Western Seismic Network in the Pacific Ocean (PNSN) says this information is primary and is subject to change after review.
