Matthew Weathers, a professor at Biola University, is no stranger to the art of magic and illusion. Three years ago, one of his pranks went viral, garnering 65 million views. This year, things got a long way. It is safe to say that this April Fool Math Teacher Difficulty just conquered the internet.

With the La Mirada campus temporarily closed, Weathers held its math conference online this year.

And just like every April 1st, his class prepared for the trick like no other.

Weathers starts the video by talking to his class and showing them the empty classroom he is teaching.

Then he goes to teaching whiteboard, and that’s where they get interesting.

He pulls out a hilarious video of himself, it seems to be his alter ego – a shaky professor with the lid off.

The video is perfectly timed so he can talk to himself.

And while that’s impressive enough, Weathers brought a whole host of magic tricks up his sleeve.

“Oh, I didn’t see you there. How’s it going?” the video asks him.

Then the recording begs him to do him a favor and “uses Google Chrome instead.”

Weathers hands over the paper logo of the Google logo right through the projector screen!

Then, his version of the video throws Weathers a real plastic blue light saber that he catches at half-time.

The tricks are wild!

His on-screen version pauses and asks him the question we all thought, “Wait, how did you do that?”

“It’s kind of a secret,” but the video version won’t accept the answer.

“I’ll look at myself,” he says. Then, Virtual Weathers pulls the projector screen itself!

We don’t want to give it all away, but you have to look out for yourself – you won’t believe your eyes.
