Eight officers are being investigated in arrests after a black woman was thrown to the ground and punched, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed. A young black woman told Newsnight that she was afraid for her life, and said she had suffered more violence when she was arrested by police. The Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) has placed two of the officers under investigation. Details of the probe have been made public following a Newsnight investigation.
