Lebanese protesters in anger week attacked banks – BBC News
Banks in Beirut were targeting demonstrators in what they called an ‘angry week’ in protest of the country’s banking crisis.
Protests have been ongoing since October 2019. Lebanese commercial banks have restricted access to deposits and blocked most foreign transfers over the course of two months.
Protesters say they will continue to take to the streets until a new government is formed.
