A family feud over the water killed two people and wounded three others

One family quarreled over water in a house near the Pashtun market in Oranji city on Saturday, killing two brothers and wounding their mother and two other brothers. The attacker was identified as a half-brother.

The Pirabad police said that a heavy unit of law enforcement and rescue workers from various care societies transported the five injured from their homes to Abbas Shahid Hospital, where two brothers died of injuries while their mother and two other brothers were still being treated for serious injuries. .

The deceased was identified as Gul Muhammad, 24, and Saif Ali, 29, while the wounded were Dilshad Matin Khan, 64, Shaukat, 28, and Taj, 22.

Police said they arrived at the house after receiving information about five people injured in the shooting incident, adding that the victims were taken to hospital, where two brothers were released, the last of them, while their family members were still receiving treatment there.

Officials say clashes over water problems erupted between the family and Gul Khan’s half-brother, also known as Raja, who were forced to shoot indiscriminately as the fighting escalated, adding that the suspect managed to escape from the scene after the accident.

Police said property disputes had also occurred between his family and her husband’s brother over the past few years, adding that officials also had criminal records for the suspect.

They said that the suspect’s father married twice, adding that the father has four sons from his first wife and two sons, including the suspect, from his second wife.

Police said a 9mm pistol was used in the attack, adding that officials had found 10 empty bullets from the scene. No cases have been reported to date, but investigations are ongoing.

Men get hurt because of differences

Another man was wounded in a shooting incident at a house in Baldia, within the boundaries of Saeedabad Police Station. The injured were taken to ASH Hospital, where they were identified as Adeel Shahjahan, 29.

SHO Nisar Lodhi said that the injured victim was shot twice, adding that the man was a paramilitary soldier until he was dismissed from service.

Police said the victim’s brother’s brother, Akil, was shot and fled after being wounded. Officials said the suspect was mentally ill, adding that they were trying to arrest him. A case has been registered and investigations are ongoing.
