Annapolis, Maryland (WJZ) — A record number of Covid-19 admissions were reported on Sunday as the number of patients in Maryland hospitals increased by 73, state health department data show.
The state added 3,310 as of Sunday, for a total of 306,674. Twenty-five new deaths were also reported, bringing the state’s total to 6,100.
The total number of hospitalizations in the state is currently 1,950. Of the hospitalized patients, 1,465 are receiving emergency care and 485 are receiving intensive care.
