The death toll from the new coronavirus increased to 97 on Sunday, with most of the casualties being one day.

The number of deaths in China is 908 today – but people who have recently become infected have stabilized.

Across China, 40,171 people are infected, while 187,518 are undergoing medical observation.

Meanwhile, more than 60 people tested positive for a boat they landed in Japan – 130 out of 3,700 passengers caught the virus. #BBCOS #BBCOutsideSource.
