Myanmar police fired rubber bullets at a demonstration in the capital Nay Pyi Taw, which banned thousands of protests. A woman is in hospital in serious condition with a head injury. Demonstrators are demanding the release of elected Aung San Suu Kyi, along with top leaders of his National League Party for Democracy (NLD), who were arrested when the military took power.
