Joe Biden’s first trip abroad as US President will be to the UK at the G7 summit in Cornwall in June. After that, a NATO summit will be held in Brussels, which seeks to reaffirm America’s leadership amid great tensions with China and Russia. Both countries have recently stepped up military activity – China around Taiwan – and Russia on the Ukrainian border.
