Donald Trump has approved a ban on Facebook and Instagram by the Facebook oversight committee. But he criticized the enduring nature of the ban because it was outside the realm of ordinary penalties on Facebook. He promised Facebook to review the decision and “justify the proportionate response” that applies to everyone, including regular users.
