Coronavirus first line: paramedics endanger lives to help patients – BBC News

 



Tributes have been paid to two members of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service who died after contracting coronaviruses.

The role of paramedics has become increasingly dangerous during the pandemic. They are the first contact of patients who have been seriously ill with the virus.

Children are generally saved from the worst effects of the disease. Scientists are trying to figure out why it exists and whether children can spread the infection, even if they have no symptoms.
