PSI Balam welcomes Jokowi, holds event at Wisma Rimbawan

INILAMPUNGCOM – The “Jokowi Greets Indonesia” activity which started in Lampung Province from Friday, June 26, 2926, will be optimally used by the ranks of the PSI DPD Bandarlampung City (Balam). Several agendas have been prepared.

Chairman of the Bandarlampung City PSI DPD Randy Adytia Gumay Gumanti, SH, accompanied by Secretary Johan Alamsyah, SE, said on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 that their party had prepared various major programs that would be part of Jokowi’s series of visits to Lampung.

One of them is the Bandarlampung City PSI Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda), coupled with the inauguration of PSI DPD, DPC and DPRT administrators throughout Bandarlampung City. This event involved 1,690 administrators.

“This activity is expected to bring together ISP DPP General Chairman Kaesang Pangarep and ISP central leadership, including the Daily Chairman, Deputy General President, General Treasurer, as well as ISP DPP chairmen,” Randy said in a statement sent to inilampung.com.

According to him, the coordination meeting and the inauguration of the leadership are proof that the PSI continues to grow and develop.

In addition to PSI’s internal events, Randy added that his party was also preparing a major activity called “Jokowi Greetings”, namely a meeting between Jokowi and Lampung residents.

This activity is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 09:00 WIB in Wisma Rimbawan, Jln. Prince Diponegoro (near Al Furqon Mosque).

As part of this activity, all Lampung residents from different backgrounds had the same opportunity to meet in person, shake hands, take photos and convey their aspirations to Jokowi.

“Anyway, Lampung people can attend. It is an outpouring of friendship and solidarity. Pak Jokowi wants to greet the Lampung people who missed him. We invite everyone to attend in an orderly manner and follow the committee’s instructions later,” said Randy.

The DPO PSI Bandarlampung City also called on those present to maintain order during the event.

“Don’t fight for each other, don’t push, don’t jostle each other. We will show that Lampung society is a polite, orderly and self-respecting society,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bandarlampung City PSI DPD Secretary Johan Alamsyah believed that the momentum of Jokowi’s visit and the consolidation of PSI should be a source of inspiration for the current young generation to start actively involving themselves in nation building through political channels.

According to him, once a person turns 17 and has the right to vote, they must then begin to understand the democratic process and participate in determining the future direction of the nation.

“We, PSI, open the widest possible space for young people in Lampung who want to learn, organize, serve the community and contribute to the progress of our region.
