The EU has said its patience is “very slim” in talks with the UK aimed at preventing a trade war over border controls in Northern Ireland. Exports of sausage and other chilled meats will be banned from Britain to Northern Ireland by the end of the month. The UK says it is ready to lift the ban to avoid further disruptions.
