Veteran comedian, theater actor Tariq Teddy dies in Lahore
Popular Punjabi theater actor and comedian, Tariq Teddy, has died in Lahore at the age of 46, days after being transferred to a ventilator due to a prolonged illness. The late actor is survived by his widow, a son Junaid and two daughters, Safa and Marwa.
Doctors from the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) have revealed that the late actor suffered from liver-related health issues which allegedly worsened over time leading to his untimely death.
The King of Laughter, Teddy was born in Faisalabad in 1976 and began his performing arts career in 1990. From pakistani mom at Abhi to Main Jawan Hunhis contribution to the world of arts and theater remains remarkable.
He was also best known for his comedic performance in the 2004 film Salakhain because of his lively and witty comebacks.
Teddy had a knack for playing smart roles in Punjabi plays and movies. For forty-six years, the actor continued to bring smiles to people’s faces with his humor and artistry, despite his harrowing health issues.
Some of these famous theatrical dramas are Ji Karda, Do Rangeley, Beatho Beatho Liya Dala, Asli Tay Naqli, Jhoot Bolda, Chili Masala, Ghoonghat Utha Loonand Eid Da Chan.
