Vijay Sethupathi’s Bollywood project gets a title
It was previously reported that famous Bollywood filmmaker Sriram Raghavan who previously directed Andhadhun is shooting a movie in the combination of Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi and Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif. The news also revealed that this as-yet-untitled movie will only be 90 minutes long.
Due to the Covid lockdown in 2021, the shooting of the film is halted earlier for a few months. Later, the shooting of the film started and recently completed the filming formalities. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the team has locked down “Merry Christmas” as the movie’s title.
Billed as a thriller, Sriram Raghavan had previously planned to release Merry Christmas during the 2022 Christmas festival season, but due to delays in filming and post-production formalities, the release has been pushed back to 2023.
Besides Merry Christmas, Vijay Sethupathi has a few Tamil and Telugu projects in the works. According to internal reports, director Sukumar plans to tap Vijay Sethupathi for a key role in Allu Arjun with Pushpa-2.
