Magnus Media by Marc Anthony partners with the Latin drinks brand BELIV: Exclusive
Two new energy drinks will be launched this month.
Marc Anthonys Magnus Media broadens its horizons. The company has announced a partnership with BELIV, a beverage company with a portfolio of 28 brands including juices, soft drinks, water and energy drinks – and distributed in more than 24 countries.
The first brands co-developed by the partnership are energy drinks. OCA is a herbal drink fueled by tapioca, an extract from the cassava root that gives a boost and will come in three flavors: mango, acai berries and guava passion fruit. AZU is a sparkling drink that uses yerba mate, a natural herb containing caffeine, common in South America. It will come in pineapple and grapefruit flavors.
The two brands are in harmony with the list of artists of Magnus (which includes Anthony, Fonseca, Mau & Ricky and Gente de Zona) but also its stable of athletes. The company represents more than 60 professional baseball players, including New York Yankees pitcher Aroldis Chapman and Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Belivs, uniquely Latin DNA played a key role in formulating the agreement, says Anthony.

Founded by Anthony with a talent agent Michel Vega in 2015, Magnus’ activities included management, music publishing, digital and video creation, television production, a music label, a sports division and an artistic agency. This new partnership will be overseen by Magnus COO Felipe Pepper and by the CEO of Beliv Carlos Sluman. Gabriela Ramirez will head the business for both companies.
The new drinks, which have already been developed, will be available this year via e-commerce and retail and will be available in specialty chains in California as of this month.
