Kannada actor and director Tapori Satya dies aged 43
Kannada actor and director Tapori Satya died on Monday at the age of 43. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment for kidney failure at a private hospital. He would be survived by his mother, wife and three daughters.
Tapori Satya, who was the sole breadwinner in the family, left immense grief. Speaking to a TV news channel, Satya’s mother Rukamma said Satya was in hospital for a week in intensive care. He has always devoted himself to cinema. Satya promised he would take care of me and my family, his passing left us in shock.”
Satya’s remains will be kept for public viewing at his residence in Banashankari. The last rites should take place today.
Tapori Satya acted as the antagonist in Nanda Love Nanditha along with Yogesh and Nanditha. The film, released in 2008, became a box office hit. He also directed a movie called Mela and was preparing for his next director. According to reports, he had started working on his next directorial film and started the audition process.
