Blood In Blood Out actor Damian Chapa at Laredo Con in August
Actor Damian Chapa, famous for his appearance in the cult 1993 film “Blood In Blood Out” as Miklo Velka, is coming to Nuevo Laredo this summer to appear at Laredo Con 2023.
Beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 27, this will be the second edition of the convention festival in Nuevo Laredo.
Chapa announced his planned appearance on social media saying, Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, its Miklo, and we’re going to be there at Laredo Con. Hope to see you there to celebrate Blood In Blood Out’s 30th anniversary with you. See you there, vatos locos forever.
Laredo Con is a convention held in Nuevo Laredo that helps showcase artists from the international film and television scene. Prior to this announcement, Laredo Con introduced Nuevo Laredoans to meeting Hector David Jr. who played the Green Ranger on the Power Rangers Samurai show.
The first Laredo Con featured a replica Tim Burton version of the Batmobile, a display of dolls that inspired horror movies, a Mario Bros. and other attractions. At the August event, these presentations and activities are also expected to return. Many comic and anime and comic book collectibles are also sold on the site.
