In an interview with Vogue India, the 'Katti Batti' star said he hit a low point in 2016 where he felt broken inside. He also confessed that he didn't care about money and that his job didn't excite him enough to work hard. Khan shared, “Luckily, I was working in an industry that rewarded me financially, so at 30, I didn't have to worry about money anymore.”
He added: “I had recently become a father and I thought, 'This is precious. This is something I take seriously.' “I wanted to be the best version of myself for Imara. I decided it was no longer my job to be an actor. Now I had to take care of myself; to be healthier and stronger for my daughter.”
Imran on life after Bollywood
Imran told Vogue that his life has seen many transformations since he left the film industry. He sold his Ferrari to finance his modest lifestyle, which now involves living in an apartment in Bandra after moving out of his palatial home in Pali Hill. He also revealed that he loves his new eco-friendly lifestyle, and in a display of the same, he proudly donned his decade-old suit, which he wore again for his niece Ira Khan.
