An old map of California shows how Paramount studio considered filming locations
One of Hollywood's historic film studios reportedly created a map during the early years of the American film industry showing locations in California that could stand in for regions around the world.
The map states that it is a “Paramount studio location map.”,” And several blogs And websites I say it dates from 1927but Paramount Pictures Corporation, as the studio is known today, has not confirmed this at the time of publication.
THE black and white map doesn't show which films were filmed in the statebut it shows most of the Golden State and Nevada and suggests what global location the different areas might represent in the films.
