Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins announce new Cleopatra movie

Gal gadot and Patty jenkins are ready to kick some aspies.

The star and director, whose Wonder woman gangbusters three years ago and whose follow-up, Wonder Woman 1984, saw a delayed release due to the coronavirus pandemic, announced their next project. And it couldn’t be a better fit.

With Laeta Kalogridis script, Paramount outbid the competition to publish a new Cleopatra, according to the deadline. Their report states that the project was born with Gadot herself, and notes that there is an “accelerated timeline” for getting the image done.

A new big budget Cleopatra has been prevalent for years, with recent chatter both Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga the two cubits for the part.
