10 actors you totally forgot appeared once upon a time

With many fairytale characters to explore, ABC series Once upon a time ended up having many guest and recurring actors. A few of them landed bigger roles after the show. Given their identification with their current roles, viewers may have forgotten that they were also in the world of Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest.

Since the ABC series was created byLost writers, plenty of actors in the mystery series too, but we will avoid focusing on them because there are quite a few of them. Instead, we’ll focus on actors who have major roles in other productions but were minor characters in Once upon a time. Here is a list of stars who have made appearances at some point in the fantasy series.

ten Sonequa Martin-Vert

Sonequa is best known for playing Sasha Williamsin The walking dead. She appeared for five seasons of the AMC series before leaving for an equally good role inStar Trek: Discovery.

In 2013, she appeared in 7 episodes of Once upon a time. She made her debut in the fifteenth episode of Season 2 as Neal’s fiancee, Tamara.It was explained that Tamara had a contempt for magic and that it wasn’t long before she tried to kill Neal, Dragon and Pinocchio. Fortunately, all of them survived.

9 James dornan

Before James Dornan was the fictional billionaire sex symbol Christian Gray, he appeared on the ABC series. Dornan portrayed Sheriff Graham Humbert, aka the Huntsman, who struck up a friendship with Snow White.

Apparently, Dorman was supposed to play Sherlock Holmes on the show, but the producers couldn’t secure the appropriate rights for the popular character, so they created Dorman the Huntsman. It wasn’t a bad decision as Graham Humbert became one of the favorite characters early in the series before being manipulated by Regina.

8 Sebastian stan

Stan is currently one of the most recognizable actors in the world thanks to his role as Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier in the MCU. And fans will even get to see more of it in an upcoming Disney + series.

Stan appeared in six episodes of Once upon a time where he played Alice in Wonderland character Jefferson aka The Mad Hatter. As a result of the Evil Queen’s actions, Hatter was separated from her daughter, an event that began her descent into madness. Sadly, Stan had to quit the series prematurely after being hired by Marvel.

7 Jorge garcia

Garcia has played two major roles in his career. His breakout role was that of Hugo “Hurley” Reyes in Lost. The role earned him eight nominations. A few years later he was chosen as conspiracy theorist Jerry Ortega in Hawaii 5-0. He went on to appear in six seasons of the procedural crimes series.

In Once upon a time, he appeared in the sixth episode of season 2 where Anton The Giant from the popular tale played Jack and Jill. After an encounter with a few favorite series in the Enchanted Forest, he was taken to Storybrooke where his size was reduced before the Magic Beans were taken.

6 Tom ellis

Tom Ellis has been playing the devil for a while now and that’s the role most people recognize him for. A few years before the Welsh actor starred in Lucifer, he portrayed folk hero Robin Hood in the nineteenth episode of Season 2 titled “Lacey”.

In the episode, Robin attempted to steal something from Rumple Castle, but ended up getting caught. He was held captive for a while before Belle took pity on him and set him free. Ellis never returned to the series and in season 3, British actor Sean Maguire took over the role.

5 Wants Traval

Devout Arroweverse fans will remember Wil’s brief appearance as a human target. He would later get a larger role in another superhero TV series by appearing as Officer Will Simpsons in Jessica jones.

In the ABC series, he portrayed Keith aka the Sheriff of Nottingham who became depressed, jealous and vengeful after Marian left him for Robin Hood. When Robin married Marian and tried to start a tavern, the sheriff stopped that from happening until he paid his taxes. After the Dark Curse, he was forced to live in Storybrooke as Keith.

4 Jamie chung

Chung has had a few good roles such as reporter and Jim Gordon’s girlfriend Valerie Vale, who came to Gotham to investigate the Indian Hill installation in Gotham. She also starred inThe gifted like the mutant Blink.

On the ABC show, Jamie Chung played the popular Disney character Mulan in some episodes of season 2 and season 5. She appeared primarily during the Enchanted Forest scenes. The series also drew a surprise when it was romantically associated with Sleeping Beauty and then Dorothy.

3 Walls of Sinqua

Walls is best remembered as Shawn Stark, the son who had a difficult relationship with his father Kanan (50 Cent) in the Starz seriesPower. He was also in Teen wolf where he played Vernon Boyd.

His character Sir Lancelot, aka The Leviathan, debuts in the third episode of the second season. He was a knight of the round table who traveled with King Arthur. He was killed quite early on by Cora who started pretending to be him until she was discovered by Snow White.

2 Rose McGowan

Rose McGowan has had over 100 film and television roles in her career. She was also one of the main players in the #MeToo movement. His decisive role came in the film Yell where she played a Woodsboro teenager named Tatum Riley. In addition to acting, Rose also worked as a model.

In interwoven flashbacks over the years, fans have witnessed the events that helped make Cora the monster she is becoming these days with McGowan stepping in to play the younger Cora.

1 Sarah bolger

Bolger’s TV credits are pretty impressive. Most recently, she played Emily Galindo, the first lover of protagonist Ezekiel Reyes, in Mayans MC.She also played Jade, the third baron of Armadillo Territory, in In the badlands.

Sarah Bolger starred in some episodes of the second, third and fourth seasons of Once upon a time. She first appeared in the first episode of the ABC show’s second season as Princess Aurora of the The Sleeping Beauty tales. Aurora’s scenes took place mostly in the Enchanted Forest, with most of her interactions taking place with Mulan and Prince Phillip.
