Rakhi Sawant is known to speak often in public. The actress recently spoke about her conservative past and how people treated her because of her profession. Rakhi, who is currently inside the Bigg Boss house, touched fans with his candid revelations.
Inside the Bigg Boss 14 house, Rakhi was seen tearing Rahul Mahajans clothes in a captain’s task. The actress also had a heart-to-heart conversation with Rahul Vaidya.
She revealed that although she had received several marriage proposals in the past, the boys and their families would take a step back because she was a dancer in Bollywood. Just because someone works in the film industry, people feel they don’t have a character, the actress said. Then she asked a rhetorical question asking if it was wrong to be a part of Bollywood or if becoming a dancer was wrong in the eyes of society.
Looking at her past, Rakhi remembers receiving stitches from an injury suffered after being beaten by her uncle. She revealed that women in her family were not allowed to shape their eyebrows, wax their bodies, or even stand on balconies. Expressing his frustration, Rakhi said: I don’t understand what kind of men they were.
Rahul asked if his mother had ever protested against such strict rules, to which Rakhi said no women were allowed to raise their voices in the house. The episode saw the actress feel emotional as she thought about her difficult upbringing and the loneliness that now overwhelms her.
Rakhi gave him all the chores of the house inside the Bigg Boss house. In the last episode, she is seen trying out the role of Julie, a 200-year-old ghost. While serving as captain, Rakhi was given the responsibility of eliminating roommates from the race to become captain. As Julie, Rakhi must have scared and pointed out to competitors. If the contestants manage to ignore it until the end, they advance to be nominated for the captain position.
Rakhi subsequently received criticism from members as she tore Rahul Mahajans’ dhoti as part of the task.
