M & Ms store opens in Disney Springs

ORLANDO, Florida M & Ms fans were treated to an unexpected surprise on Saturday.

The aroma of chocolate flowed from the brand new M & Ms location in Disney Springs.

The new state-of-the-art location has opened next to Splitsville Luxury Lanes and the NBA experience. Over the past two weeks, crews have put the finishing touches on the bright yellow facade.

At one point on Saturday, the store had a line of people waiting to enter. The store was operating with limited capacity and required facial protection inside.

The store features a signature chocolate wall, photo ops with the adorable M & Ms characters outside, and exclusive Mickey and Minnie Mouse M & Ms. designs and packaging.

You will also be able to purchase a variety of assorted chocolates, M & Ms clothing, mugs and key chains. Chocolate lovers can also customize and design your own candies to take home.

M & Ms previously had a location at the Florida Mall, but that location has since closed for this new store.

The Mars Retail group currently has six M & Ms locations around the world, including spots in London, Las Vegas and Shanghai.

The Disney Springs location was originally scheduled to open last year, but the coronavirus pandemic has delayed opening.

The new M&M store is the latest business to open in the entertainment and shopping destination in January. Just a few weeks ago, Gideons Bakehouse opened its new location, and earlier this month Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew opened.
