Universal Studios Hollywood releases Halloween-themed Horror Nights virtual backgrounds – Daily Breeze
As people continue to work and socialize practically from home during the coronavirus pandemic via online conferencing and chat services such as Zoom and GoToMeeting, users have become creative with their backgrounds.

This week, the park has abandoned a new series of discussion backgrounds on the theme its annual Halloween Horror Nights event, which includes a variety of genre-themed mazes that run from mid-September to early November.

Like all of Southern California theme parks remain closed until at least May 31, Universal Studios Hollywood has become creative by continuing to interact with its followers via its social media pages. In addition to publishing the virtual backgrounds, Universal also shared retrospective photos and behind-the-scenes images of theme park attractions, uploaded a variety of home craft ideas, organized Spotify playlists, and promoted the direct-to-demand release of DreamWorks animated feature, “Trolls World Tour”.
Universal said it continues to work closely with local health agencies and government offices, but has not yet announced whether Halloween Horror Nights could even take place in 2020 amid the spread of COVID- 19.
In previous years, Universal Studios Hollywood began announcing the themes for its Halloween Horror Nights mazes in mid-April. Last year, the event included iconic films in its attractions, including the supernatural comedy “Ghostbusters”, the 1988 science fiction thriller “Killer Klowns from Outter Space” Jordan Peele’s second horror stab, “We” AMC’s streaming service, Shutter’s new series, “Creepshow” as well as some original concepts including “The Curse of Pandora’s Box” and “Holidaze in hell.”
