Sienna Miller presents the Wonky dress in the Wild West
Sienna Miller will soon star as a lovestruck widow in Kevin Costner's multi-part western, Horizon: an American saga. The actor spends most of the film if the trailer is trustworthy, wandering the vast plains of Utah in ruffled lounge dresses with large woven baskets hanging from her arm. She looks desperate, worried and sometimes confused about the terrible events that have befallen her farm.
She shouldn't, however, because the film's costumes appear to have been built to Miller's own design. The actor wore a silk charmeuse dress with lace inserts from the Chlos Spring/Summer 2025 collection with calfskin boots last night at the film's premiere in Los Angeles. She looked like the gun-twirling milkmaid next door who would no doubt throw a thousand cowboys into conflict. The hem of this dress had been tucked into the top of a boot, as if Miller had just dismounted.

It's not even a disguise. Being the original figurehead of the boho-chic movement during the '80s meant Sienna Miller was one of a handful of women placed at the front of Chemena Kamalis's first Chlo show in March. The star has since worn the brand's pastoral creations at the 2024 Met Gala and on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. These are cute clothes designed for tough women. I'd like to see a cowboy walking around an imposing corner.
