President Joko Widodo accompanied by Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo arrived at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province (North Sumatra), on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at around 09:15 WIB, as part of 'a working visit.
The arrival of the President and Ms. Iriana seemed to be welcomed by Acting. North Sumatra Governor Hassanudin and his wife Major General Pangdam I/Bukit Barisan TNI Mochammad Hasan Hasibuan and his wife North Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Agung Setya Imam Efendi and his wife, Brigadier General Danlantamal I TNI (Mar) Jasiman Purba and his wife, and Colonel Danlanud Soewondo Pnb. Ucok Enrico Hutadjulu and his wife.
From the airport, the President and his entourage then continued their journey to the Pagar Merbau Palm Oil Factory, Deli Serdang Regency. The Head of State is expected to inspect and inaugurate the Pagar Merbau edible oil pilot plant there.
After that, the President and his entourage will continue their journey to Tanjungbalai town aboard the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter. In Tanjungbalai City, President Jokowi will visit the yarn market and inaugurate a number of regional roads in North Sumatra Province.
Previously, President Ms. Iriana and her entourage took off on the Indonesian Presidential Plane-1 at around 07:15 WIB via the Indonesian Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta.
