Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the NDA wanted to win 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections to prevent the Congress from placing a 'Babri lock' on the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Addressing a rally in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar, Prime Minister Modi said it was important for the nation to know why he was demanding 400 seats.
“Modi wants 400 seats so that I can end all the conspiracies of the Congress and the INDI alliance. Modi wants 400 seats so that Congress cannot bring back Article 370 to spoil the game, Modi wants 400 seats so that Congress does not put a Babri lock on the Ram temple in Ayodhya,” he said.
PM Modi said the BJP-led NDA needed 400 seats so that “the Congress does not hand over the country's vacant lands and islands to other countries”.
PM Modi also criticized Rashtriya Janata Dal president Statement by Lalu Prasad on promoting reservation benefits for Muslims. The RJD is part of the opposition INDIA bloc.
