Jokowi and Gibran invite Jan Ethes to Borobudur Temple

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) invited his two grandchildren, Jan Ethes Srinarendra and La Lembah Manah, on vacation to Borobudur Temple. Jokowi and his two grandchildren also visited the Borobudur temple building.

Jokowi, First Lady Iriana Jokowi and their two grandchildren arrived at Borobudur Temple at 10:00 WIB, Saturday (25/5). Meanwhile, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Selvi Ananda walked behind him.

The presidential family group entered through Gate 7 of Borobudur Temple and then ascended to Borobudur Temple via Kenari Post.

At the Borobudur temple grounds, Jokowi, Jan Ethes and Lembah Manah took photos with tourists. Dressed in upanat sandals, they then went up to the temple through the west gate.

While climbing Borobudur Temple, Jokowi reached the third level. Meanwhile, Gibran, Selvi, Jan Ethes and Lembah Manah continued to the top of Borobudur temple.

They were accompanied by a guide from the Borobudur World Heritage and Cultural Heritage Museum (MCB), Hari Setyawan. After about half an hour at the temple, Jokowi then came down. Meanwhile, Gibran and Selvi and their two sons and daughters came down later. Meanwhile, First Lady Iriana Jokowi is waiting in the temple grounds.

A number of local and foreign tourists rushed to take photos with Jokowi. They repeatedly called Jokowi's name to invite him to take photos.

Jokowi's entourage left Borobudur Temple around 11:00 WIB. Before leaving Borobudur Temple, Jokowi distributed t-shirts to tourists.
