Today, President Jokowi turns 63
SINAR OF HOPE–President Joko Widodo would continue to work at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on his birthday, Friday, June 21, 2024.
“Still in Jakarta. Today (activities), the President has his office at the Palace as usual,” Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana said in a short message to Jakarta.
President Joko Widodo, born June 21, 1961, did not organize a special event to celebrate his birthday this Friday.
“There was no event to celebrate his birthday. He never celebrated a birthday,” Yusuf said.
Based on observations, a number of ministers wished President Jokowi happy birthday via Instagram social media posts.
Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto posted several photos of himself and Jokowi on his @prabowo account.
In the description of his upload, Prabowo wrote prayers and hopes “May you always be protected by Allah SWT, always in good health and strength to carry out your service to the country and people of Indonesia. Happy Birthday Mr. President @ jokowi.”
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir on his Instagram account @erickthohir also uploaded a photo with the President at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
It is not known when Erick's meeting with the president took place. However, in the description of his upload, Erick admitted to reporting to the president the results of his visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Erick also wrote prayers and sayingsstove happy birthday to the president.
“Happy birthday, Mr. President Jokowi. May you always receive strength and health to lead this nation. Thank you for all your dedication and love for Indonesia,” Erick wrote in his upload.
