Prabowo expresses commitment to complete IKN development in 4 years

Jakarta: President Prabowo Subianto stressed that he will continue the development of the National Capital (IKN) of the archipelago. In fact, Prabowo expects the construction of the IKN to be completed in four years.
This statement was made by Prabowo while giving instructions on the second day of the Red and White Cabinet retreat at the Magelang Military Academy (Akmil). This was revealed in a post on the Instagram account of Minister of Forests Raja Juli Antoni.
“He (Prabowo) is already planning to complete the construction of IKN in four years. For him, IKN is the political capital. Therefore, apart from the executive buildings (which are now almost completed), in the next four years, the OIKN must complete (2 triaspolitika in branches of others), namely the legislative and judicial buildings”, said Antoni on his Instagram account @rajaantoni, Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Prabowo, said Antoni, hopes that the DPR/MPR plenary session in 2028 can be held at the IKN. Likewise with the inauguration of the 2029 president and vice president.
“He even hopes that the inauguration of the president and vice-president in 2029 will take place at the IKN,” he explained.
Prabowo therefore emphasized that his government would pursue IKN. There is therefore no need to ask questions about the fate of the government program of the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
“He emphasized that the IKN issue is actually very clear. It has been decided that it will be pursued and resolved. There is no need for any further questions on this issue,” he said.
