ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani met with the Turkish president on Friday during an unannounced trip to Türkiye.
Soudani met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Vahdettin Manor where they discussed “recent regional developments and the growing threat to peace and stability posed by the Zionist entity's continued aggression against Gaza and Lebanon.” , the Prime Minister's Office said in a message on X. .
“They urged Arab and Islamic countries, as well as international and United Nations organizations, to support efforts to achieve a ceasefire, facilitate relief operations and provide aid to people affected,” the statement said.
