JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Governor of Jakarta elected Pramono Anung revealed that the transition team would seek the opinions of a number of former Jakarta governors regarding the direction of Jakarta.
Former Jakarta governors mentioned by Pramono include Sutiyoso, Fauzi Bowo or Foke, Joko Widodo, Anies Baswedan and Basuki Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok.
“This transition team will also seek the opinions of people who have been governors of Jakarta. “Not only Mas Anies and Pak Ahok, but also Pak Foke, Pak Sutiyoso, even Pak Jokowi,” Pramono said in Lapangan Banteng, Pasar Baru , Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Saturday (11/1/2025).

Pramono said the transition team had started working to prepare for the transition period before he and Jakarta Deputy Governor-elect Rano Karno took charge of Jakarta.
“The most important thing is that they (the transition team) just prepare, not decide. However, all decisions depend on me and Bang Doel. “So they are preparing until the inauguration,” he stressed.
Pramono added that those included in the transition team were selected based on their professionalism and not their confidants.
“They are professionals, people who have expertise in this area. “So I really want the approach to be professional,” Pramono said.
Jakarta Governor-elect and Deputy Governor Pramono Anung and Rano Karno have officially announced the formation of a transition team that will assist them while they await their inauguration.
This announcement was made after both were nominated by the Jakarta Regional General Election Commission (KPUD) as governor-elect and deputy governor of Jakarta for 2024-2029 at the ballroom of Pullman Hotel, West from Jakarta, Thursday (9/1/2025).

In the structure of the transition team, Pramono appointed Ima Mahdiah, who is currently Deputy Chair of the Jakarta DPRD, as chair.
Pramono said the transition team was tasked with helping prepare for the government's transition before he and Rano were officially sworn in.
