Police resubmit Jokowi’s certificate files to prosecutor’s office – Kontras Aceh
Jakarta – The police again handed over the files regarding the alleged fake diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the High Prosecutor’s Office of DKI Jakarta. The progress of the case delegation will be communicated to the public.
“Yes, this means that this case has been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office. That is why we will inform you in the near future whether it is P-21 and the plan for phase two. We will forward it later,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, at Polda Metro Jaya, Saturday (23/5/2026).
Kombes Budi said his party had coordinated with the prosecutor (JPU). It is known that this case was handled by the State Security Sub-Directorate, Directorate General of Criminal Investigation (Subdit Kamneg Ditreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya.
“We coordinated with the prosecutor. In the near future, we will convey the actions taken by the Sub-Directorate of the Ministry of State, Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya regarding the plenary session of this case. We will forward them later,” he said.
In the case of Jokowi’s fake diploma charges, Polda Metro Jaya named a total of eight people as suspects. Polda Metro Jaya issued a Stop Investigation Order (SP3) against three suspects.
The three suspects whose investigation process was interrupted are Eggi Sudjana, Damai Hari Lubis and Rismon Sianipar.
Meanwhile, the other five suspects chose to continue the case. There are two groups of suspects in this case.
The suspects in the first group are Kurnia Tri Royani, Rizal Fadilah and Rustam Effendi. Meanwhile, in the second group, there are suspects Roy Suryo and Tifauziah Tyassuma or Dr. Tifa.
